About
Trixplor compares road trips and 4x4 adventures: for each destination it puts side by side estimated costs, best time to go, climate, flight time, how suitable it is for children, and a sample itinerary. It is a personal, non-commercial project.
How the estimates are made
- Prices, flight hours, rain days and ratings are estimates prepared with the help of an AI assistant (Claude, by Anthropic) from general knowledge. They are not quotes and have not been verified by airlines or providers.
- Flights, rentals and accommodation change a lot from one day to the next. Always check prices and availability on the providers' own sites before booking.
- Itineraries are suggestions to be checked, not guaranteed driving routes. Check road closures, season, permits, insurance, and entry and visa requirements.
- Information on safety, health and vaccinations does not replace the advice of a doctor or the competent authority.
